Welcome
Welcome to the new look HaemSupport website, we hope you like the new bright and fresh feel to the site.
Haemsupport was founded in the February of 2006 by a group of patients that had experienced first hand the highs and lows of living with a haematological disease. With the support of the staff of the Royal Bournemouth hospital and Macmillian the support group was formed.
We offer a friendly and informal environment for people living with a haematological disease where you can talk, one to one or in a group, with others who have experienced the same disease in their own lives or in the life of someone close to them.
We meet on the first Monday of alternate months and offer a wide range of speakers to talk about aspects of haematological conditions, as well as social and interesting subjects. Also present at these meetings are local specialist nurses for you to have an informal chat about concerns and any anxieties.
At our website you will discover the various meetings and support services we offer patients and their families in the counties of Hampshire and Dorset.
